      I C no answers

About to head out to dinner. I'm toying with leaving a clue but on balance folk maybe busy so I'll leave it and weigh in with an overnight clue mid-evening.

Well, I've been avoiding the obvious C "Holy Roman Emperor", but for the sake of continuity I'll put forward Charlemagne?

What a wonderful name, it invites anagrams such as harem glance, nag her camel and reach ma glen.

But tell how the Fux is linked to Bononcini please?

Back home, somewhat later than anticipated... Apologies.

No, folks, neither Charlemagne nor Candle (would love to know your thought process behind the latter, Don).

Clue for the Nightwatchmen (and women): the C in question was superseded by another C towards the end of the relevant century.

So what's the C-C-C-Connection between him, Fux and Bononcini?
