      No - see #17006

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

is the Juilliard teacher whose first name begins with E a composer or instrumentalist ?
not sure whether I'm looking for a person or ensemble now, more likely neither

The Juilliard person is an instrumentalist. No need to hunt for an ensemble for this individual.

The other 2 Es are also people - the links in the puzzle refer to ensembles with which they are associated.

Again, afraid not. I mentioned in #17006 that you're looking for "the name of an instrumental ensemble... which will lead you to one of the Es" i.e. the E is not the name of the ensemble, but a name associated with the ensemble.

well I can vaguely link Astree to Ralph Waldo Emerson and there's an Emerson Quartet, but I think #17019 suggests this is wrong too

I really must start thinking rather than guessing

My E seems to have given you the run-around, I hope enjoyably rather than frustratingly. As an additional clue, one of the people you are looking for is a woman, and that accounts for the difference in spelling of the E word in her case...

                            To clarify:
AstreƩ has an association with the E; the Luxembourg ensemble is named after a work by another association with the E, and a teacher at Juliliard has the first name E?

                                - the E is associated with a Luxembourg ensemble. There is no 'work' involved.
