        Another dirty stop-up!

        Surely you can explain?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Felix's Hear My Prayer and as ever if that doesn't fail Anna's Law then

You have the Quixotic honour of the Q even though one of those elements is not what's on the card although remarkably close: I was thinking of William Schuman's Prayer in Time of War http://www.kennedy-center.org/calend...sition_id=3944

            It matters not.

                A puzzler...

Is it too obvious to think that you're talking about Wolverhampton Wanderers?

They were promoted thanks to a win over Queen's Park Rangers... That's all I've got. Doesn't seem to fit the other two...

                        Good skills, mercs!

And I have found a piece for flute and piano by Kevin Ure (b. Pasadena, 1978) called Queen Mab.

So is that it, anton? A trio of Queens?

                        - QPR
                        - Queen Mab by Ure
                        - The Queen of Romania's PC by Scharwenka...

Anton seems to have fallen into the plans of Lady Gould for this arvo, gorn since just before 13:00

Praps Lady G is like my mum used to be - she made us all (my dad, me & my brother) strip the cooker after doing the Sunday lunch (dinner) washing up and wash & dry each piece

And this was in the days when the BBC broadcast Sunday League cricket all afternoon on BBC2 - there were important things to watch - but that's mothers all over for you

I think I ought to wait for anton, don't you? Queen's could be wrong...

Sorry yes Lady Gould was worried that as she hadn't been to Fenwicks yesterday if she didn't clock in today they may well close the emporium. No Queens I'm afraid the first with Wolverhampton connections is a song that is very Quixotic!
