Not sure that there will be much time to shoot patisserie porn on this trip and no fine dining planned (London's much better for that!)... but I do plan a visit here http://www.boulangerie-patisserie-ar...com/index.html which I've mentioned before, with a bit of luck I can walk past it to Chatelet on the way back to the Gare du Nord tomorrow...

I feel I should get Cloughie's E-plonk connection but haven't managed. Off now...

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

It was Plonk aka Ronnie Lane. Haven't had time to look at the puzzle though. This time plonk could be cheap wine of course ........

Not the late Face this time. You are seeking three composers.

OK, the answer is William Evans, who composed the avant-garde Opera "Lego-Lite is for Plonkers, Give me the hardstuff like Airfix" Premiered August 18th 1959, never heard of since.

No, cloughie, sorry, I just haven't a single idea about this, perhaps others will?

Well Flay, I leave it your capable hands to sort it out (are you hiding behind a crofters cottage so that Mrs. F. don't see you fiddling with your ipad?)

She's having a shower after a quick run so I'm OK for now... Finally dried out after a drenching on Sunday and we made it to Harris. Enjoyed the forest walks and mountaineering on Benbecula yesterday

Oh, I do envy you, it's my dream to go to the Highlands and Islands ... it looks so idyllic and peaceful.

I'm not sure about cloughie's last: What's the opposite of no lose? No gain?
Consuming all your units on a Friday night: Only suggests a typical night out on the Gurnos Estate
What firm would you find in San Francisco? There was a film, I think, called The Firm?

None of which point to an E, so as I said, hopefully when I log in later tonight someone will have an answer.

I'm thinking binge for the drinking. I should know... But I'm struggling like you

South Harris has granite moonscapes and some perfect beaches.
