Glad (in one sense) to hear that others are/have been having communication problems - I currently have no phone service, just intermittent, slow internet. It seems to be due to local BP 'improvements'

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

merc, I couldn't have put those questions better - I hope we get good, full, answers. Which Italian opera has a hat or a gaol?

To quote the fictional PM with the unfortunate initials: 'You may very well think that - I couldn't possibly comment'

The I is a composer (and also a person).
The hat is Italian (I do not know about corners).
                      The gaol is English.

It's Ibert, innit? Italian straw hat, Oscar Wilde, etc.

Everyone is, like, thinking, I cannot post because, INGER-LAND are kicking some balls around against (?) Sweden.

What do vegetarian cannibals eat? Swedes.

And are you going to identify the other two works and put this question out of its misery?
