Started of wonering who the F Fobbes was.

Then found Fantasy on Magic Flute

Variations on a theme of Mozart by Fernando Sor

Beethoven seven variations in Eb major
based on Mozart's Opera "The Magic Flute".

So on that basis it's either MOZART OR MAGIC!

The theme used by Sor is from Magic Flute.

Beethoven also wrote another set of 12 Variations in F major (Opus 66) on another theme from Magic Flute.

Over to you for the Next question.

Have you heard the Fobbes and is it any good?

The answer to your first question is no, and so I cannot answer the second question.

You are seeking an N - Moll Flanders link is warm - who played her in the film?

The other two are linked to works by a N composer.

I suspect no-one is playing because: a) they have visitors b) they do not wish to set a question c) they have no idea of the answer d) it's a lovely sunny day and they are punting down the Cam e) they cannot be bothered because they're filling in their Euro 2012 chart f) they are in the queue waiting for Olympic tickets to be returned by Seb Coe's mates.

However, I think (being alert and bright eyed) that we are looking for a Czech composer.

You are absolutely correct - which one? It's as well not many players are around because I wasn't either. Been out singing.

Hello there, and apologies. I haven't had any internet access for some days, currently it's back but very slow and the phone line won't be fixed until Thursday at the earliest. I'll have a quick look at the last few days and hope to sort things out. Back (I hope!) in a moment.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Any chance of a final answer to the N from non-Potter followers?

Kim Novak played Moll Flanders. Vitezslav Novak was Czech composer. I guess you are looking for Melancholy Song about Love and Eternal Longing. I do have his In the Tatra Mountains and Slovak Suite and very good there are too, recommend them. I've answered to put cloughie out of his misery but I'm not playing at the mo as snowed under with other stuff. So, the O would be up for grabs unless we agree to put things on hold for a few days (bearing in mind footie, work commitments, family visits?)
