                    A fascinating play, once seen at the Almeida Theatre London N1 with Richard Griffiths as the star-gazer in a performance where I got the clear impression that he was improvising - great stuff

                    If I had the money I'd make sure there was a performance of it touring the country every year with free performances for school children particularly those from faith schools

                        Yes - I think it will need more than one hearing. I thought it started in a way like Brahms, the with bits of Wagner imposed on his Englishness <ducks and runs for cover>

                          I was thinking that it started a little like Brahms 4. Perhaps the sun was too strong, I'm not used to it...
