Yes we don't want some terrible forking puzzle...

I agree, I stabbed wildly in the dark, scb solved forensically.

    Are you there, subs?

Yes. I seem to have set too many questions recently, but if you insist I will try to find something for F.

I would dive in if I weren't disappearing off the radar for a few hours. I could set a very easy one which someone else could solve in 10 minutes, if you wish.

Go on then - we dare you!! You know you want to. And I guess the answer will be - Four! Elements. Not four candles!

Oh... I'm uneasy. Perhaps scb is even now head down in Grove coming up with something tremendous. I don't want to waste his time.

Aha! I knew it, the answer is indeed the Four Elements!! The main of which is Fire!!! (cross reference to four candles)
                Only teasing you, of course.

When oh! when are you going to go "on the record" with one of your answers (I think you solve most of these puzzles privately) and then treat us to a roller-coaster of a puzzle!?

                  I can't wait!

Try an operatic F to link David, Leslie and Cesar.

Your last line sprouted two extra words since I first read it.

Well I've actually been trying to think about subby's clue.

César-Auguste-Jean-Guillaume-Hubert Franck - Le Valet de Ferme
Florent Schmitt - Le petit elfe 'Ferme-l’œil' – Une semaine dansée op.73 (1912/1923-24) [arr Leslie De’Ath]
