        Not that again!

More Pinafores here than you could shake a pair of frilly knickers at!

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Caliban's office needs a stronger air-con on a day like this

'ot 'ot 'ot is how it is, mercs - lots of tourists and lots of Londoners being affable, offering directions, tips etc.

The Tube however is utterly vile - crowded, very hot and must be close to 100% humidity. I'm steering clear of it as best I can - buses for me or Shanks' pony

Certain amount of buzz, no heaving that I've spotted... Hyde Park full of pastel-jerkin'd stewards. If anything less ordinary traffic than normal. A rather agreeable ride in this morning (bit of a cooling breeze compared with yesterday)

Earlier we had Esa-Pekka Salonen bearing his torch aloft... https://twitter.com/esapekkasalonen/...174082/photo/1

                    Is the S Sy/ilvester?

Victor Sylvester wrote a waltz medley
The cocreator with Steve Allen of The Tonight Show was Sylvester Barnabee "Pat" Weaver
                    err.... that's it so far

Fresh from his triumph over LOCOG, Paddy Power is offering odds of 10-1 that Ariosto will want to take issue with how E-PS is carrying that torch

"You'd never catch Silvestri holding an unlit torch like that" says another anonymous tweeter

Alassio will certainly send you in the right direction.
