Alan Arkin was Yossarian in Catch-22 and Dr Oatman in GPB
not sure what or how much of Strauss's music is used in Catch-22

I never knew that! (cue: vinsanto frisson and perhaps even a moue) - so former and latter are like like older and younger - only of two? So what should I have said: last?

Anyway I see that if I failed to solve Y, I at least precipitated a solution...

Great work by mercia - if I may assist (from the IMDB site):

                Music credit:

                "Also sprach Zarathustra"
                Written by Richard Strauss
                Conducted by Fritz Reiner
                (when Yossarian first sees Luciana)
