The answer is Vangelis. Mercia, were you referring to him when you mentioned gold award prize winning composer?

Cairo - Friends of Mr Cairo written in conjunction with Jon

AI ...androids....Vangelis composed the music in Bladerunner

Usain Bolt....Chariots of Fire....the main theme written by Vangelis

...who also happened to be on Private Passions last Sunday.

Can somebody please tell me for what we are waiting - a 'W' is it? - and from whom?
                      Thank you!

Cloughie has surrendered the W - Monday night is singing night if I remember correctly. Maybe he'll be back soon, given the time, but in the meantime I infer he wouldn't mind if anyone stepped in.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

To be honest, I just chucked in the Yes man bit, thinking Mercs had got Vangelis. Next thing I know Res Man has given the full answer implying I'd got it. Couldn't upset Ammy again by doing a W and then going out so handed it back. This morning no W - what's the scene guys?

The scene was awesome - Lenny's "Mass" last night

Go on - Why don't you go for it now?

I was nowhere near Vangelis, but I've cobbled together a W, with permission

                                W to connect

a Messiah aria, Hindemith in the festive season and a Copland film score
