      Well done, Wossy!

PS On reflection - should we involve the stewards? Not sure of the relevance of the German word to Fauré and Debussy... If one is going to deviate from the English, shouldn't it have been B for Berceuse...?

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Ooh, I do get quite a delightful frisson at seeing a finely honed legal mind springing into action! (Actually, I did wonder about the answer)

I got as far as "Are you sitting comfortably" and Arensky. Then I faltered. But I did think about it!! (Just proving I am paying attention at the back amidst all the talk of haggis and tablets)

None of the above. The clue in #27320 was more to do with the origin of Port....

As to the separate elements, I quote (#27312): "All were examples of berceuse. Chopin originally named his Berceuse 'Variations'. And the other two..." are in the Children's Corner and Dolly Suites.
