Muchos gracias, Caliban, for the heads up on that film which had escaped my notice.

I don't think I feel inclined the answer the question m'lud on the grounds that I may incriminate myself !!
Not heard of the film, trailer looks quite good, the only one I think I've seen her in is The Night Porter.

You fancy whipping up a tasty tagine for Gabriel Byrne, though, I should think... no?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I've been sitting on that all afternoon
You were right not to be tempted by cali's wager - substitute the Liadov for the Strav and answer was correct.

Again, m'lud, I claim witness protection upon the subject of my tagines and whether whips were involved in the preparation thereof.
(Gosh, you can tell it's Friday afternoon and the weekend beckons ...... !!)

Got to say that I saw La Rampling on Breakfast TV the other morning and I've got to say she looked good!

We could do with a F Flay!

It looks like you're going to have a very interesting weekend, Anna!

Moving on swiftly and unincriminatingly (is that a word?) with an F: Solemn service, airy, and a Skeleton pieces' Allegro (Yes, again, this time in French)
                  Pacta sunt servanda !!!

I toyed with a number of variants in my post above addressed to Anna, but deleted them...

Another has just occurred to me.

                    "Do you like Rampling?"

"Yes, it's more fun than Dickins..."

"skeleton pieces allegro" in French gives me via google translate - morceaux de squelette !!! Which I re-translate as a little tiny squeallette when appropriate (your did predict it would be a interesting weekend ......)

So, that leads back to Beecham?
I have to go and prepare quick veggie curry, with onion bharjis, a bit of a treat the latter, so I don't know the answer, and as for the squeaking, well, we don't want Cali to fall off his velocipede for want of some WD40?

Nifty trailer, two fine actors (at least) ... why do the words Bunny Lake Is Missing and Dressed To Kill haunt me, however?

No idea except the obvious which is not an F is it? He also said not to try Folk Dancing and Incest. He did not, however, say not to try them at the same time.
