Let's focus a bit. John Williams is a composer of music for films - if he produces a score for a fillum that does really well, like Jaws, what does he have a chance of getting? In this case, he got one

Fe Opera are to perform the world premiere of Oscar in their 2013 season. Composed by Theodore Morrison with a libretto by the composer and John Cox, the two-act work depicts the life of Oscar Wilde looking back from his time imprisoned in Reading Gaol...

Congrats to Flay on getting the Santa Fe connection

Nay nay nay, there's still the colourful Radio Three favourite to get - currently cloughie1 - Flay 1 I'd say

                    How to help ....

The piece is solo instrument & orchestra, this Oscar also took part in the film of the same name.

Orf the top of me 'ead: Oscar Levant? Rhapsody in Blue? (Was there a film called that?) Oh yes - I see there was.

PS: Only you could find a link between "Jaws" and Oscar Wilde, ammy

PS2: On second thoughts - Flay would be capable of that too....

                      Fe ....!

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

                        Bravo Calibano! -

So it's a three-way - Oscar would not object - cloughie cracked it and got the JWlilliams, Flay got the opera, Caliban got the favourite - eee who fancies a go? Anyone ready to P?

Not sure I'm entitled to a P. Will think over breakfast. If no one's done one I might. Not going to be on from midday on today though...
