    Symphonie Espagnole = "Iberian symphony"
Lawrencwe of Arabia main theme sounds similar to the Second subject of Lalo's 1st Piano Concerto*
North of Cap Sizun is an island called Ys, a king of which was the subject of an opera by our Eddie.

    * = according to some; listening to it, I think Jarre looked after the material better than Lalo:
Edouard Lalo Piano Concerto in F minor, 1. Movement I "Lento--Allegro"Marylene Dosse, PianoStuttgart Philharmonic OrchestraMatthias Kuntzsch

... go to the 2 min mark.

Double muddle here - WIKI refers to Ys being "a town in the bay of Douarnenez", but following their own links there is only mention of the "mythical city". Dunno where I got the "Island" idea from!

                    But - moving on:

Denis, Benjamin and Amy: which M connects them?
