And if you want another wedding there's Bryllupsmarsch (Wedding March) for violin and orchestra, Op. 32 No. 1

Is down for the next one I suspect, Herr Calibs?
    You're certainly In

I didn't see any of the language - I got it from this link which popped up when I searched for Halvorsen whose name occurred to me: http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P3-2726911521.html
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

My Rapport protection software didn't like that website.

Now for some songs: My plans this summer, should be great, if we get the weather.

Something in my bones says John Ireland, but it's probably wrong...

Oh Lor... I'm going to be otherwise engaged for a couple of hours....

There are a number of piano pieces about summer (e.g. "Indian Summer")... That's what made me think of Ireland ... but I can't fit the three elements precisely...

There's a song called "Bed in Summer" ... is that your plan??

Got to say Cali I found your responses yesterday evening grumpy and unhelpful and as regards the language misleading, but then this is the unpredictable AA thread.

What art thou thinking of? is one of his songs - an interesting question!

Forgive him his ire. He's not all bad... We're all allowed off days. Perhaps Calibs was doing some work for once...

Now the beans have been partially spilled: I want three songs by Ireleland.

Can you try filling the flesh and pumping in the blood to raise this monster, Cloughie?

A certain Radio 3 presenter has provided the accompaniment for these songs on a recording....

I'll send you a link next time, Cloughie! Didn't mean to be grumpy or unhelpful yesterday, but it didn't strike me that the clues and the language issue were any more complex than many a puzzle here... The answer arose in various places - in English - in my research, so I didn't want to give it away....

Thanks for filling in the Ireland gaps... Looking forward to a limpid and straightforward J

Well done. Iain Burnside & Roderick Williams. It's about time we had some easier clues (I fear that consternation over complexities could have chased away some competitors)

Would you care to Jump in, cloughie?
