Thanks for filling in the Ireland gaps... Looking forward to a limpid and straightforward J

A mere sparrow is the only ornothological representative - not even a Nowegian blue with its lovely plumage -so naturally I thought - can't be Halvorsen - had my Norwegian been better........

I note his Symphony No. 2 is called "Fatum" - is it to do with obesity?

I actually use amazon a lot for looking up things. The search box, switched to 'Classical', is a great source of ideas as if you type in the first letter, up jump lots of suggested names... then one can follow through to, for instance: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Halvorsen-Sy...7820382&sr=1-2

I guess subliminally that's why Ireland popped into the brain, seeing the puzzle.

Oh well. Could have been worse. Could have been Norwegian!

Onwards and ever more straightforwardly !

Does it indicate three people called Robert are involved?

I have so far found four (possibly more) composers and a band all called Robert J****, so that cannot be right.
