    Please proceed with "A"!

I think I would be wise not to set any more clues for the foreseeable future - I'm a little too far off the beaten track!
Not so fast, Odders! I was thinking of Xian Xinghai!

Please don't be disheartened, that was fine. It has us scurrying around, looking things up, entertained.

That's what it's all about on AA! The point is that if we don't know then we ask questions, and eventually it's solved.

So here's to your next clue, and many more to come!

"East is East etc" confounded by the meeting of Western and Eastern Classical traditions in his work?

Can't see the "English Baroque" bit, though.

Ammy's Rudyard made me laugh out loud! Your X was worth it for that alone, Oddball

One of those seven course teas that Mrs F is wont to lay on of a Thursday evening...?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

She's just gone out to t'pub after being late back from work. I was chef tonight, as well as dog-walker, cleaner and dishwasher. Roast veg and ham tonight - just right for a wintery eve.

The A is gestating as I type...

My origins are in an A: with a shepherd's song, in a doll's house I love your smile, and your scalp!!!

The second is not all musical, but rather too tasty to leave out.

Late night reflections have yielded nothing...

I wonder if we are to conclude that A is a geographical name - a country, a town...?

                      Bedtime now, however

Yup - and as I'm about to go to the gym, you can do the B if you feel confident. But I want the middle clue song and a picture of the lass
