Is that about the size of it so far, as the actress said...?
    Birtwisitle Tenabrae David

    David Fanshawe - African Sanctus
    Honeggar - King David
    Birtwistle - Tenabrae David
Bonus Points: Milhaud, the opera David

Now, after setting such an awful puzzle, I am buggering off.

Wow! I feel I have coleslaw all over me...

And off she's buggered! And when Anna's gone, only the Law remains.

Ferney - would you like to set E? You unlocked it with Arthur H

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Looking at Anna's coleslaw it's about the only thing that was unlocked!

I think I owe a letter. May I count on you to find an E in three: wonderful but actually stayed locked, contains pulses, and a 72 with a bit of Schumann and Chopin.

if you're counting on us, I wonder if E is a number

meanwhile is 72 an opus number, date or something else ?

I didn't want to make it too easy (after posting I noticed there could be a simple google to the answer) but yes, E is a number and the 72 is an opus number...

Speaking up from the lower ranks, may I say that there's nothing wrong in making things too easy in my opinion

oh do tell us about that

                            Chopin's opus 72 are Ecossaises I think - can't remember Schumann's
                            I guess it's somebody else's opus 72
I think pulses has taken me to Stockhausen or the kitchen cupboard

eight, eleven, eighteen, eighty etc. etc.

                            nothing coming together as yet
