Patrick Moore appeared tree times on M&W. He was indeed renowned for his socialist views

Could Toccata be the record label?

You could provide the J and then summon the oddsters K on air!

Nothing to offer for J, but I do have a K, which I have been slaving over for the past 12 hours!

I've no idea whether koffer or jack are clues
however I think the answer is Jesus College, Oxford, the apparent alma mater of Harold Wilson and Paul Jones
I also have no idea of the identity of the composer of this wartime 2-piano Toccata
I notice that JCO has a strong Welsh link but whether it is a Welsh composer I don't know

If it's Jesus then wiki tells me William Leonard Reed who composed a Toccata for 2 pianos in the 40s was educated at Jesus College.

Well done mercs we are indeed in Jesus - Paul Jones being lead singer on Manfred Mann's version of, I believe, a Dylan song. The composer who also went to Jesus was William Leonard Reed who in 1942 gave us his Op.25 Toccata for Two Pianos.

mercs as so often triumphs but do we go for the Oddest K?

I looked through that list of Reed compositions several times and couldn't see a Toccata

                              still can't

EDIT - ah - I should have tried that link

Anton - did you just happen to know he had written that piece ???
