Neither! (As in Kermit; or, better still, Aristophanes.)

or here, featuring this Arp ?

This piece composed by Chrabine Project is made with sounds of the legendary ARP 2600.

(Is there a pop/rock connection though?)

          Enchanting clip, hedgehog. Totally ribbetting.

Not Pop/Rock, but Musical Theatre. And there is a connection with Aristophanes, but Aristophanes isn't the answer.

That may narrow it down to Stephen Sondheim's The Frogs", which has a totally confusing plot, but doesn't get me much further.

I was thinking that too Oddball. It's a bizarre plot, there is an Ariadne in there. Dick might be Richard Strauss with Ariadne auf Naxos and Harry is a Henry?

But I don't think Henry Purcell wrote anything with an Ariadne or Arianna. I'm probably wildly off key as usual...

Yes we are on the same (probably incorrect) lines hedgehog. Ariadne, for various convoluted, if not labyrinthine, reasons is my currently preferred candidate. Harry Potter - Ariadne Vane?

You type faster than me Oddball - I was going to venture Harry Potter and Ariana Dumbledore. I guess amazing and crosses would come into this somewhere!

Beginning to fall into place - Harrison Birtwistle - the Minotaur - I don't know about being amazed though - couldn't stand the sight of the blood of young maidens!

B*gger... I had a passing thought a while ago.... Bet Ferns is on about Harry Birtwhistle... but (a) was otherwise engaged (b) forgot about The Minotaur....

                          Crossed...

Delacroix...? Ariadne & Bacchus in Autumn?

Gordon Crosse : Ariadne for Oboe.

Btw - Oddball sussed out the Birtwistle.

                              Propose that 'B' be gifted to him/her ( I took the Z ).

Ah.... that'll be Gordon Crosse then... (I'd forgotten I'd heard of him! )

EDIT: I've just been hedgehogged!! Ouch!!
