The orange still remembers this fondly.

I can't find any "Ecstatic Song and Hymn" nor an "Ecstatic Cry" (QED, my Memoirs) though. But somebody must have done some, somewhen ... ?

Apparently the E-numbers for orange range from 110–119.

                WOW!

Now, there is a(n in)famous "Shout or cry" required from the orchestra in Delius' Eventyr - the word being Norwegian for "Adventure". Is the jogger continuing a theme she started four puzzles ago?

No, but there is a Scandinavian mixed up in it.

cry hasn't taken me further than Giles Swayne - red hasn't taken me further than Arthur Bliss

are we dealing with three composers, perhaps sharing the same name ? three Edwards, for example ?

is the Scandinavian only mixed up with the cry part ?

happy to receive a helpful clue - mangled paws permitting

We're looking for a word in the title starting with E.

                              The scandinavian wasn't crying.

one title shared by three works by three composers, one of whom Scandinavian

                                a red E
                                an E cry
                                a hymn/song E

another word for cry - another word for red - don't worry I'm just thinking out loud
