Is in a way closer to the mark!

We are looking at titles, and it's just " B for 10" (actually "a 10")

(sorry for the late reply, hours are antipodean at the moment)

There's a Galliard Battaglia. First Publication in 1621 in Ludi musici I (No.21)

          It's Scheidt.

Congratulations to Flay for 2 of the three Battles: Battalia a 10 by Biber (yes without the g for him apparently as is his Passacalia from the Rosary Sonatas), Galliard Battaglia - nr 21 from the Ludi musici
                  by Scheidt.

And subcontrabass adding his worthy note of A Battle and No Battle by John Bull. (there was another battle piece by a composer B, but I fought against the obscurity ).

                  Calling on Flay!

Au cointreau, Rodney - I think these are exactly the words everybody else wants to hear

Against my better judgement, I shall probably join in once I've got my computer problems sorted out. (Having purchased my new Laptop, a 45-minute telephone discussion with those nice people at the Post Office resulted in the news that I need a new Router. Probably. On its way "in three to four days", so I'm stuck with this antique until then.
