    Royal site incorrect
    Yes, "John"
    Now the others?

I shall sit back indoors under looming clouds and the chill of coming rain - well, I am in LIverpool.

Which reminds me that when I foirist came to live here, I was walking up Lodge Lane when I saw, srawled on a wall, "MOZART RULES". I was uplifted. Such quality in that rundown area. Some time later, walking again up Lodge Lane I saw another handsome bit of graffiti: "HANDEL RULES". Imagine my delight.

Several weeks later, I mentioned these sights to a colleague who knew the area well. "Mozart and Handel," he said, "are street names." Let down, I nevertheless enjoyed the possibility of classical associations in that area of a city dominated by the Mersey Sound and it diverse successors.

I take relief with the excellence of the RLPO.

You have the two composers, but which is which ?
You have the guitarist but what is the connection? And there are two more to go.

I shall have to be as firm with you as you were with me, he said, smiling.

well I can think of a Baroness Williams, but what she's got to do with sawmills I don't know

                      are there sawmills in Crosby?

come to think of it Shirley Williams is not Welsh anyway, I don't think

You got it but it was naughty of me

Nevertheless, think anagramatically with both clues.

I am looking forward to your X

Well it bamboozled me when I looked earlier on !!

Can't really focus on AA today alas. But others are doing a sterling job. And I like your question style, Don
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Thanks, Caliban. I wondered what had happened to you. I am hoping we can get past Z today though I don't fancy setting it. I hope you will join us again later and that the sounds hurt not. Best wishes,
