Ditto, minus the film and the veg.

A distinct lack of hunger on this thread of late; perhaps we are all too busy/tired/sated/innuendoed-out. No doubt the pack will regroup soon... When's the next full moon?

I, for one, remain hungry but I agree the tone has perhaps been lowered of late, although I have no doubt good vibrations will soon be restored

Ah, rubbers, I thought you of all people might pick up on the (3) supplementary clues hidden in my last message, which, according to Mr Says' original stipulations, have exhausted the allocation permitted in this esteemed game.

You know you know it. And so does Anna...

Keep 'em coming. I am very, very low brow (to plagiarise Beecham).

You mean Anna knows it, or Anna knows I know it...? Assuming the former can I suggest she answers and sets*, as I really am going to be out of the running until Sunday afternoon

(*as soon as she realises what a rubbish film 'An Education' is...)

Duran Duran - Hungry like the wolf?
                Wolf tone?
                Theobald Wolfe Tone?

Thanks be to Mercia! I was intrigued though, Taps, that the famous Lieder composer did not figure in your trio. Perhaps with you as a self-professed Huguenot, it was a case of Hugo - No! ?

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I know nothing about any of those

a Y composer, among whose works:

                        - sport venue entrance (opus 98)
                        - you & me
                        - cat-killing suite

I got the Wolf - but partial sympathy?? So I did not post.

Anyway, An Education. Turns out, Ducks, men are deceivers ever. Especially the older ones. Who Promise paradise in Paris.

It was followed by Jools and Arctic Monkeys. I would prefer the brilliant Welsh group - Gorky's Zygotic Mynci of whom, of course, no-one has heard.

I thought that poor mad Hugo was too obvious, rubs.

And I have an aversion to the name Hugo since becoming aware of an execrable, husky-voiced "Country -and-Irish" singer/broadcaster named Hugo Duncan who peddles his questionable wares on Radio Ulster directly after the excellent and hilarious Gerry Anderson.

Radio Times, Caliban? I am surprised at you, mucker!
