I wonder if Caliban gave any of his Christmas lunch to the poor people pressing their noses against the window?

I'm sure Caliban is a great Philanthropist and mindful of his duty to the poor widders and orphans of Chancery!

Top marks for effort! (And you'd better give a bit of spag to the poor?)

I didn't mean it to be that difficult, I may have to recalibrate, if I ever get another chance.

When you get your breath back, your spaghetti hoop!

In case others are not familiar, the first, and repeated, line from the Lyke-Wake Dirge is 'This ae nighte, this ae nighte'.

No, you weren't: I clicked a wrong entry whilst trying to Edit and ended up sending the same message twice. When I saw what had happened, I deleted the duplicate, but not before you saw it.

Would Haydn's soul belong to a philosopher I wonder?

I'm leaving the rest to you all. It's my birthday and we're having folk round for a nosh and drinkies. I have to get last-minute lemons & cornflour (don't ask) from the Co-op on the way home from work. Mrs Flay is demanding my presence...

(and I am demanding presents... )

Sounds possible, but where's the O?

I can't get out of my head Simon in Spring, singing about the impatient husbandman sowing seed with measured step, but I suppose that is sole music and doesn't count. (The true punster never sleeps ...)

Happy Birthday (you share it with Biffo, by the way): hope the "last minute lemons" aren't your guests!

                                Best Wishes.
