Not going nowhere with this D, except to bed..... Drood was a weird kettle of fish, I really don't know what I made of it, but have never read the book, so I deserve to be adrift

Which 'D' links instructions issued by six singers, born respectively in: London; North Dakota; Surrey; and Minnesota, Minnesota and Minnesota?
The last three look like The Andrews Sisters. That is as far as I can get, and I am out all day tomorrow.

But there was a lovely moon this morning framed by a double moonbow! Worth getting up for (to walk the dogs).

Not sure about the D. Anyone else but me should be able to get it, from here to Argentina, even mean smokers. It's beyond me. Off to work now.

Me too. Now hoping for some lunar inspiration as I cycle through the park. I'm at a loss with the D too, and not surfacing again till the afternoon. Good luck all

The Andrews Sisters (born in Minnesota) are three of the six songstresses we're looking for. One of the other three was born in the vicinity of a famous racecourse.

If it is relevant to the solving, Peggy Lee was born in North Dakota

anton: that depends on whether we're doing as we're told
                            Anna: it's relevant

You seem to be well on your way to a complete answer!
