            Both Rossini and Dvorak wrote works called Ot(h)ello, who was the Moor of Venice, and a feature in this morning's BaL.

              o, good man: yes - Moor as in the Moor of Venice, Dvořák's overture Othello and Rossini's opera Otello...

              Now, for Ravel, that accent, that instrument....
