Gym = Get Yours & Mine (I'm on my way!)

Mercs, I think you can safely set W while Flay works up a thirst
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I doubt whether I have the financial clout to indulge your exotic tastes at the bar Caliban!

well, if you're sure. I don't think you'll like this (or maybe it's very easy), but I'm ready with clues.

        a W to connect

        Neto the cellist's accompanist
        an annual attraction at Blackpool-sur-mer

Yes indeed, I thought it would be out by the time I got back! And Venus is making a sight just now with a lovely lunar crescent nearby. Too easy by far!

                  Getting thirsty now...

I grabbed my Prof B. Cox Duffer's Guide to The Universe, Milky Way and Constellations, rushed out, and found ..... cloud. So, it's goodnight from me, and goodnight from him as I join Flay down't pub! No, I have to think of something imaginative to do with cous cous (part of my new healthy regime)

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives

Nope, once again. You have lost me. I thought Blazing Saddles was all about blokes, cowboys, baked beans and fart jokes. I am sure my cous cous will be absolutely delightful and full of nourishment.

Antonio Meneses Neto, cellist, sometimes accompanied by Gérard Wyss
Thomas Wyss, conductor of the Northrop Silver Band that gets invited to Blackpool.
Not sure about the barley water - anything to do with Johann David Wyss?

                              Yay Hedley!

That's the sort of mayoral candidate I want!

ah, you have the sensible part - Gerard Wyss
the other two were a bit silly - yes to Johann David Wyss with The Swiss Family Robinson

I'll let you have Thomas Wyss, actually I was after Sophie Wyss, the dedicatee of Britten's Les Illuminations (Blackpool-sur-mer - geddit? - obviously not)

                                your turn
