Just to clarify - should we be thinking of Colin Matthews, Harrison Birtwistle, and Claude Debussy?

I'd offer a goal poaching Cortege
and Claude's came with an aire de danse!

                    I've been nutmegged!

Actually, if this is the correct answer, I'd be delighted to be relieved of the D as I'm out this evening (a recital by Rachel Podger )

I was thinking of another Cortège by Debussy (in the Petite Suite).

You can fight it out between you for provision of a D.

                        Just to clarify:

Colin Matthews, Harrison Birtwistle, and Claude Debussy all wrote pieces with the title Cortege.

As Cloughie is frolicking in the green and pleasant land, and has passed the duchy on the left-hand side, let's have a Beano with this:

A D to connect 3/6, Porter and Bingham.
