    Smoothies

    Anybody make smoothies at home?
recently bought a smoothie maker, and it has transformed our breakfasting. Now, along with a jolly Bach Cantata,I can enjoy two of my five a day without even trying !!

    My standard recipe :
    1 banana
    1 Apple
    1 pear
    1Kiwi
    Big handful of baby spinach.
good slug of apple juice and a splash of water to make a good consistency.

Preparation time: 1 average Aria.Makes enough for two folks.
    Yum.
Might switch to seasonal summer fruit, when it appears.
    anybody got any good recipes?

Any road up, I recommend these little monkeys for a great start to the day.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

& a certain manner with the ladies, I think. But I don't think they were considered 'quite the thing'.

Lord Peter Wimsey: "I wish to appear in my famous impersonation of the perfect Lounge Lizard – imitation très difficile."
Bunter: "Very good, my lord. I suggest the fawn-coloured suit we do not care for, with the autumn leaf socks and our outsize cigarette holder."

Sir, no gentleman would hold a cheroot in such a manner!

I do have some recipes stuffed up the sleeves of my safari jacket from sojourn in 'Nam.

I'll dig them out later and post 'em for you.

                          Who loves ya, baby?

Cheers 'Noggers. My local mini mart is sure to have the ingredients for a Vietnamese style smoothie, so good news all round.

                              TS - don't sulk.

                              I'm curious about the spinach.

I haven't a whizzer (at the moment) so can't comment. But I'm thinking something avocado based could be good.... A guacamole smoothie?
