    Hours of fun

    This

    can while away the hours

    So according to this

"Fans" of Elgar, swing to the right, like Bouillibaisse and Devilled Kidneys, drive a Saab and shop at Waitrose

    whereas

"Fans" of Stockhausen like Anchovy Paste, stay at the Premier Inn and like Ribena

Good thing I got rid of my Saab last year, it could have been infecting me with pomp and circumstance all that time.

      ... sorry, M Gong² - couldn't open your link.

But as someone who doesn't really enjoy Elgar or Stockhausen - who likes bouillabaisse, devilled kidneys, and anchovy paste, but dislikes ribena - who would happily drive a Saab if he didn't boringly have an indestructible VW Golf - who shops at Waitrose as well as Tesco's - I'm not expecting to fit into any neat yougov slot.

... or is there a slot for someone who likes Scarlatti and Janáček - céleri rémoulade, and haddock, and spinach, and rabbit - Oliver Wendell Holmes and Horace Walpole - Hammershøi and Louis-Léopold Boilly ...

Fans of Janáček are over 60, live in northern Scotland, own a cat and drive an Audi (I suppose a VW is close enough).

I thought you disapproved of people using their imaginations.

I was being mischievously "ironic", Mr Barrett, as MrGongGong (and you) are always urging me to use mine .... don't you remember?

                            Oh, never mind!
