    Caliban undergoes a sea change

But the effect is the same... Decided to junk the nom de plume and just use the real one. So, Hi! I guess
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

At one moment this topped the list for the week’s most worrying headline! One thing can you confirm who your avatar is? It looks a bit like Philip Larkin but can’t be because I don’t think he ever smiled ..

Sorry but touched to have caused concern!

The avatar is someone else not known for his beaming smile: Dmitri Dmitrievich Shostakovich !

One of those rare photos of him looking relatively cheerful! The angle of the hat is decidedly jaunty.

My heart missed a beat there too when reading the headline - perhaps the title of the thread could be amended.

                      And here!

I hope we've not lost all your previous posts in the process: I assume that they're now simply attributed to your new (real) username.

PS: Yes: they're there; just checked 'Latest posts' on your profile page.
