Click on Settings, top right, scroll down your profile page, left hand column to Edit Profile picture (on your Profile page) or Edit Avatar on the forum next to your posts. Haven't done it for years so can't remember if there are problems.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
