Selected post icon???

In this post - http://www.for3.org/forums/showthrea...949#post743949 - a small icon has appeared. I tried to get rid of it, and in the end I put a different title in, but the icon thingy still remains.

It seems to be called a "selected post icon" - which I wasn't expecting. How did it come, and how do I get rid of it?

HELP!

How can I stop the Parliamentary Debate which is still playing on my laptop. I think I closed down without switching off the programme, so when I returned later it was still playing. I turned off everything to no avail. Please help.

You could have deleted it!

I was going to suggest putting your laptop in a bucket of water .... ... though that wouldn't actually have stopped the debate, or the rerun coming on Monday.

I suppose I could have deleted the thread, too - as it now seems obsolete/redundant, though I'm not sure that I ever did find out what the problem was - a long while ago - but I noticed that I started it.
