Is there a 'techie' out there who can help.
I have a Samsung S3 (android 4.3) phone with the latest BBC media player app. When at home it connects with my BT broadband via a Netgear Wi-Fi router. Yesterday I thought I'd catch up with 'The Archers' Found the episode I wanted but it would not play (a message "check your network connection" came up) I tried other radio progs and the same thing occurred. I then tried TV programmes and it worked perfectly. The same thing happens on my partner's phone (the same model phone with android 4.1).
Later we went to the pub and the phone connected with BT Openzone. It played radio programmes!
I realise that it must be something with our home network - I've just checked the download speed at it's 8.31 mb/s Everything else on the network is ok - the i-player on the tv etc. and the pc.
Any ideas?
