Fiftieth anniversary of his death in Liverpool next month but still no sign of a Kletzki box from Warner - very annoying when so many of his recordings are not even available to download any more.

Despite the letter in the Gramophone still no sign of a Kletzki box. For Kletzki fans I can recommend a recording on Audite of Brahms 4 Schubert 8 and Leonore No 3 from a Swiss Festival concert in 1946 - the Schubert the highlight the Brahms gets a bit wild in the finale but still much pleasure and a very classy Leonore No3 .Comment

Sibelius 1,2 &3 with the Philharmonia;
Mahler 9 and Verklaerte Nacht with the Israel phil;
