I remember a topic about suggesting pieces for Breakfast (the R3 programme, not the actual meal).

How's about these (they're only 2 and 4 minutes long, so won't frighten anybody):

                      José Viana da Mota:
Scenas Portugesas op, 15: No. 3. Chula do Duoro (och. F. de Freitas)

Went to a piano recital today over in Champs Hill, Colwaltham, near Pulborough, about an hours drive. A fine pianist to lookout for Anna Fedorova from Ukraine.

Listening now from Champs Hill recordings, rather a good performance of Elgar's Piano Quartet in A minor, op.84(Schubert Ensemble); Seven Songs(Felecity Lott, soprano; Joseph Middleton, piano); Three Movements for Piano Trio(Gould Piano Trio).
