Yes indeed. Amazing that there are still major works by Rameau receiving their first recordings.

Yes...there are still one or two gaps to be plugged, I think, looking at a list of his works. I'd like a set of the complete cantatas - Gary Cooper recorded one for ASV Gaudeamus some time ago, but it would be good to have another from the likes of, say, Christophe Rousset.

Looks as though there are quite a few recordings being listened to by Forum Members that look very interesting indeed. I do rather like Rameau. I have recently listened to some Thomas Tomkins and have played on piano his Sad pavan for these distracted times(which might be so applicable to today.

          Delightful.
That looks very interesting, but I couldn’t find it on Apple Music or Spotify.

It is in the Naxos Library, if that helps?

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I’ve forgotten how to access the Naxos library.

I can log in via Manchester Central Library website using my library card number,so presumably will be similar with your local one.
I've managed to get the NML app on my I pad via Manchester too so I'm never logged out.
There doesn't seem to be a way to do that now so maybe the facility has been removed ?
