Dammit, I thought with all the hoo-hah about Morton that it was an M question... hence my offer of an N

      It's been a long day

Maybe wait till tomorrow, unless ferns wants to go in for some late-night XYZ action.

Meantime, my cheeky little N is available!!

Actually a Y has occurred to me, for the morning shift. Hope you don't mind ferns? After all, you still have X and Z to choose from

A Y links Priam with a talented conman and a rather chilly geological feature.

        Night all

          No takers?

You're looking for one person - a musical connection but not necessarily the concert stage...

I know a Y that is a chilly geological thing but cannot link it to either Tippett or mythology. Edit: crossed with mercia, hadn't thought of Berlioz!

Neither, I'm afraid. This is nothing to do with concert, opera or ballet music....

Note my #20299 - the Y is a person, linking the three elements.

Well, the only geological thing I know is the Big Freeze, aka Younger Dryas, so I fear I am now stumped! I shall leave it to others, intriguing question tho
