wikipedia tells me that there was a composer called Peter Winter (1754-1825) who wrote something called "Interrupted Sacrifice" or Das unterbrochene Opferfest (opferest ??) - pretty obscure but it's all I can offer

however, this lady's filmed autobiography may well be connected

good lord Mr Flay, how did you think up this question ?

EDIT - I guess an irregular resolution would be an interrupted cadence

have the questions become more cryptic recently?

Good lord Mr Hercule, how did you think up this answer?

      Absolutely correct on all three!

      Interrupted Sacrifice, Melody and cadence.

Give that man a double serving of coleslaw! And may he give us a J please?
      Pacta sunt servanda !!!

          For setter and getter:
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Luise Jaide seems to have sung at premieres of the two Wagner operas, but I can't establish a link with Antwerp.

                    A 'K' to link:
                    - an opera composed by one of Ken Russell's subjects
                    - what sounds like a cheerful weather forecast
                    - the dedicatee of, among other works, 2 string quartets and 2 piano trios (all by different composers)

just to prove I'm thinking hard here, Delius was a Russell subject & his third opera was entitled Koanga - howzat?

                        Right composer, wrong opera.

Still right composer, still wrong opera
It's the source of the opera that will help you on your way.
