              I haven't found anything by Orff called Mind or Geist

              but R Strauss, Orff and Faltermeyer (Beverly Cop soundtrack) were born in Munich

                        Alain-Fournier's Le Grand Meaulnes was my most favourite book when young. But, I think we are possibly talking cellists rather than authors?
