I think I am being particularly dense today, Flay is obviously referring to Alex James of Blur and his cheese making ... is the answer linked to a variety of cheese?

On second thoughts, not sure about that - doesn't 'vera viginitas' mean 'true virginity' - it's not a plural, I don't think, but a feminine abstract noun...
'vera virginitas'. Why might young Caliban think "vera" was an abstract noun here? Might it not be more likely to be an adjective, agreeing with (feminine) 'virginitas'?
But to revert to his inspired "verae".
Handy hint - always useful to remember that res [thing] is feminine. And is often omitted, implied. So if the adjective verum had to agree with an omitted, implied, res, plural "things" - well, yes : true (things) res verae - in short verae...
A house-point to young Caliboy, I think...

Yes I was referring to the Blur man's cheese, but in spite of Caliban's "eludes" comment, I cannot see it. Obviously my subliminal intelligence outstrips my conscious mind.
I am sure the W is Worlde, as in RVW and Bax, but the cheese is not ripening for poor dim me...Pacta sunt servanda !!!

In normal circumstances this would be grounds for deducting the housepoint so recently and generously awarded to him; but, given the spirit of benevolence which is supposed to obtain at this Season, have decided to maintain said housepoint to his credit pro tem.
