Cali-come-lately here and I haven't been following but C Debussy also wrote "L'Isle Joyeuse" on (or at least inspired by) Jersey (being a rather saucy commentary on his experiences there with Emma Bardac)."...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
