                      I was thinking of another Cortège by Debussy (in the Petite Suite).

                      You can fight it out between you for provision of a D.

                        Colin Matthews, Harrison Birtwistle, and Claude Debussy all wrote pieces with the title Cortege.

                        As Cloughie is frolicking in the green and pleasant land, and has passed the duchy on the left-hand side, let's have a Beano with this:

                        A D to connect 3/6, Porter and Bingham.
