    Likewise, Cali!

A Q where Adorno meets Sibelius' first conclusion,
shared by Kurtag and Gorecki (and another pair)
    but reversed by Schnittke.

But what care we? It's a sunny Sunday, I have lamb shanks slowly simmering, all's well in the world and the puzzle was solved. What more could you wish for? The problem is, Rumpole, you being of a legal persuasion, find it difficult when the evidence presented is slightly bent to fit the puzzle! :laugh

I said simmering, not shimmering! No, I don't think so, lamb shanks are too, too, totally, local gastropub, working class fare, for our Cali who is only used to fine dining with a drizzle of this and some air dried that topped with some poncey foam!

I have one word for you: RISSOLES!!!

The only foam at Chateau Caliban is the frothed milk on the cappuccini
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Nice try, but it doesn't begin with Q!

                          A quasi-question, I think.

                                Well, that was quick!

No more needs to be added to Anna & subby's responses (except to add that the "other pair" were Beethoven's two Op 27 Sonatas).

                                Subby for R?

                                (PS: NB, Rissoles are off!
