We met as soulmates on Parris Island....
EDIT: I shall leave it to mercia to give you the name of the third city (which he will certainly have had no trouble finding) and suggest he set a 'K'.

Just got the Corrie omni starting, Norfs... Prosecution barrister's a bit of a drama queen, ain't he?

EDIT: the lady counsel for the Defence is terrific though! Scary....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I think I've been here before

a K with condutorships in Liverpool, Dallas and Geneva who refused to re-open a trunk of his compositions that had lain hidden for 20 years in a Milanese basement

                      Thanking you, mercs!

This L was a pupil of Liszt and Brahms; and an authority on Beethoven; he married an Austrian woman; played Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto no 1 in Moscow; and his pupils included an almost-forgotten Hungarian pianist who was a clue here in the last cycle and an unmelancholy Dane

Like a good scientist or policeman, it would be good if you could present your evidence re the Hungarian pianist and the unmelancholy Dane, svp

All the relevant information is in Wikipedia. Specifically his pupils included Ervin Nyíregyházi and Victor Borge.
