~The problem with the Select Committee is that they have no power and some of the members unsurprisingly go into 'showboating' mode.
I'm hoping the legal system will get there eventually, although that police enquiry is taking a l-o-n-g time...

there must be a lot of 'dirt' on current politicians still filed away for future use - interesting that NI used an ex-copper to look for dirt on annoying laywers - usually lawyers protect their own so wonder how this will play out - I presume that NI with their toplevel political connections to NuLabor + old Tories reckoned they were above the law

BBC Newsnight has obtained a dossier of evidence from an ex-policeman hired by the News of The World (NoW) which shows the newspaper was engaged in covert surveillance on an industrial scale.

The News of the World was engaged in covert surveillance on a huge scale, with targets including Prince William, BBC Newsnight has learned.

Apparently the Mafia have made a formal complaint at being publicly compared to an organisation like News International.

Proposed US legislation has implications for services such as youtube. Please take a look below and get involved if you wish.

Right now, the US Congress is debating a law that would give them the power to censor the world's internet -- creating a blacklist that targets YouTube, Wikileaks and even Avaaz! Now if we stand with key members of the US Congress, we can defeat this global internet censorship. Sign the petition!

                          :ok: thanks amatuer51!

*QC, for NGN, " there is no obligation to pay (coulson) before the proceedings are over - and manifestly they are not. He added that there would also be no obligation to pay in the event of a criminal conviction because of the legal principle that no cause of action may be founded upon an illegal act.'*

? it's one for lord justice caliban, what ever does it mean exactly?

the timing on the sleb medical records 'revelation' couldn't be more disastrous along side separate news about everyones' nhs medical records are up for grabs, ....courtesy of equally covert goings on, perpetrated by dave. surely, this is an illegal act too? :erm:
