Also today's Advent 50% download sale (4 items) has a disc featuring Grace Davidson. Today only $ 5.95 : https://www.eclassical.com/vivaldi-handel.html

“Signum Records are proud to present the debut orchestral recording from Grace Davidson, one of the UK’s leading British sopranos specialising in Baroque music. She is joined by some of Europe’s leading Baroque musicians from the Academy of Ancient Music to perform a selection of works by Handel and Vivaldi, with performances led by violinist Bojan Čičić under artistic director Joseph Crouch.”

Silete venti, HWV 242; Gloria, HWV deest (?); Salve Regina, HWV 241; Nulla in mundo pax sincera, RV 630

Grace D was namechecked on this forum recently, IIRC. In October I sang in a Mozart concert - Mass in C minor/ Ave Verum Corpus and Solemn Vespers, where she (and Julia Doyle in the Mass) gave a beautiful, sparkling and assured performance. At the top of her game, in the first choral and orchestral concert in the locality since the start of the pandemic. One to remember……

7digital have recently added the Complete Haydn Symphonies form Ernst Märzendorfer/Vienna Chamber Orchestra (players from VPO and VSO). This was the first complete recorded cycle and may not be an essential purchase if you already have a complete set but the CD reissue on Scribendum was well received here and elesewhere and downloads at £5.99 mp3 £6.99 for FLAC are certainly of potential interest to bargain hunters.

Is anyone else getting security warnibs regarding the FLAC zip of this?

            A warning? No. Currently downloading.

edit - although normally the bar would tell me how much has thus far downloaded. Hard to explain. I expected it would take a while to download although I have no way of telling how much further there is to go.

"File not downloaded. Potential security risk.

The file uses an insecure connection. It may be corrupted of tampered with during the download process.

You can search for an alternative download source or try again later."

The zip is likely to be of several GB, I would have thought. With such large files it is not unusual fot the "time remaining" to be indeterminate.

I decided to ignore the warnings and check the zip with Malwarebytes after downloading. However, after a couple of unrestartable download failures (one after 271MB, the other after 931MB) I gave up and resorted to downloading the FLACs, movement by movement. The first checked out as clear of malware on completion. However, this is going to be a very long process to complete.

Sorry to hear of the trouble, Bryn.

I popped to the post box and when I came back, around 4:10, the download was complete.

edit - though the files all appear as 'sym'. I guess I'll have to use the website for reference - can't complain, I guess, at this price. Listening to the first movement of the first symphony now.

Downloading FLAC by FLAC, I have now got to "La Passione". So far, so good. In "properties", a full description is found under "Title".

I right-click on a file and sure enough there is 'properties' which I click on, but then there is no 'title'.

O.k., if in Windows open the containing folder and in the top file headings, which probably start with "Name" then "#", right-click in that area and select "Title " from the drop-down list if it is not already one of the options already somewhere across the categories in that top line.

Complete Keyboard Music from the same label and Balsam also cheap….

And both only 50p more on Qobuz. Wish I’d waited as Downloads are slicker on Qobuz….

Same label as Haydn Symphonies (Musical Heritage Society)

Celi’s Bruckner set on Warner £19 on Amazon seems rather cheap .
