Many happy returns (to their Lelio, that is). It's a step up from their SF.

Beethoven: Piano Concerto Op. 73 (Arthur Schoonderwoerd, Cristofori).

Pianoforte by Johann Fritz, built between 1807 and 1810, with an orchestra comprising 2 violins, 2 violas (divided), 2 cellos (divided). double bass, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 2 trumpets and timpani. The orchestra's complement of 20 players determined by the size of the small hall used for the concerto's first performance.

A little too slow in the Adagio un poco moto, perhaps, but how wonderfully different it sounds with the original complement.

I especially like the pleasingly raucous section beginning at 6:14.
